Ebert on Moore's 911
Roger Ebert writes his response to seeing Michael Moore's timely and controversial film Fahrenheit 911 at the Cannes Film Festival. It's good to hear that Moore has perhaps toned it down a bit, which in the past has often undermined his message. While I don't expect hard-core Bush supporters to even watch the film, I can only hope that all of those voters on the fence will at least give it a chance and not dismiss it outright because of Moore's tarnished image following the 2002 Academy Awards. Technically Fahrenheit 911 is still without a distributor after all of the Disney fuss, but I don't see this being a real problem given all of the buzz in recent weeks. If it's good, and fair, which Ebert suggests that it is, word of mouth could be huge.
